Manufactures in America have a hard time finding suppliers who will deliver competitively priced, high quality machined parts on time.

We are a machine shop and we make it easy from start to finish by investing in machining technology, people, and processes so that American manufactures can do what they do best and have confidence in their supply chain.

Ketchie, Inc. has continuously grown since its formation in 1947; from a textile job shop serving the local mills to a third generation, ISO certified, woman owned corporation operating CNC equipment.

We are a full service precision machine shop able to provide scalable comprehensive supply solutions for both government and commercial clients. In addition to offering custom machined parts, we also manufacture our own line of heavy and standard mounted bearing units.

Ketchie works with customers in a broad range of industries including railroad, mining, lumber, aggregates, textile and many specialized original equipment manufacturers. We ship parts to all 50 states and across 5 continents from our home in Concord, NC.

Ketchie values serving our many loyal customers. We wouldn't have those relationships if it weren't for our staff. The team at Ketchie is talented, loyal, and dedicated. We are committed to fulfilling our mission: As an organization following Jesus Christ, we seek to be the most respected custom manufacturer for having the highest quality people, products, and service.

We began as Ketchie-Houston, a partnership formed in 1947 by Edgar M Ketchie Sr., and Marvin Houston. Marvin Houston sold his ownership interest in the company in 1972. Edgar "Ed" M. Ketchie, Jr., joined his father in the company in 1976 and assumed the Presidency in 1980 when his father passed away. In 2004, the third generation entered the business; Robert "Bobby" Ketchie joined his father to carry on the Ketchie family tradition. With Ed's retirement in 2006, Bobby became the President and majority owner. Bobby's bride Courtney, joined Ketchie in 2008; adding her experience in finance and supply chain management to the business. Together, Bobby and Courtney operated and grew the company until Bobby passed away in March of 2014. Courtney is now the president and sole shareholder ensuring the continuation of Ketchie's legacy. In 2015, under Courtney's leadership, Ketchie, Inc. received national recognition as a Certified Woman Owned and Operated Business Enterprise and is positioned to grow with capital investments in new equipment and technology.
